Skip sent out an email today to watch a Youtube video. It’s an inspirational piece entitled, “How Bad Do You Want It? (Success)” and it got me thinking about something I had never thought of before and I found it interesting so I decided to share the thought here. In the video the narrator describes that to be successful you have to want it as bad as you want to breathe when you can’t catch a breathe, such as a person having an asthma attack for instance, and this is the example he used. I think it was that metaphor and the fact that I have listened to many hundreds of hours of some of the best motivational teachers (I have a small library of Jim Rohn (my favorite), Dennis Waitley, Zig Ziglar, Tony Robbins, etc.) the U.S. has produced in the last half century that got me to thinking.
What if it didn’t have to be that way? What if the reason it’s that way right now could be changed? I grew up wanting to make a lot of money like a lot of people born in the USA. Somehow that didn’t work out for me the way I hoped. I got by making a meager living working quite hard at my dog training business. But getting back to my thoughts… It got me to thinking about the reason it’s that way. In our capitalistic society of grow or die it’s crystal clear to me that never ending growth is a myth. You can only exploit the people or planet for so long before things will implode and systems die off that are critical to our survival. In my eyes, there is one thing that needs to change. We need to look forward to a world without money. I know that sounds crazy at first because money has been around a long, long time.
We are a species that has the ability to invent amazing things and I believe we have the ability right now to move towards a world of supporting one another instead of fighting one another. One thing is for sure though, as long as we let the ruling elite that own the banks, countries and governments of the world plot the course of the planet, we will continue to move further and further away from a world that works for masses towards a world that works only for a select few that designed it that way while the world stood by and did little to stop them. There are good people rising up all over the planet right now against their government corruption, multi-national corporations, and central banks and banking cartels that are destroying the planet, their countries and the lives of people that just want to be left alone to raise a family in peace.
Now I have to assume that that’s what nearly everyone on the planet really wants. So, why hasn’t the collective consciousness of the planet made it a reality? My answer to that is maybe it’s an idea whose time has just come. Right now, we may be witnessing the transition from a world of domination through controlling precious resources and the creation and manipulation of money by an elite few to a world where hunger is a thing of the past, medicine is made and invented to cure people instead of for profit reasons and everyone has a roof over their head. Imagine a world where the people who profit from wars no longer do so and as a result wars become a thing of the past.
The question is, how bad do we want it? Will you join with the 99% that get mocked by the news to make you think they are ridiculous instead of courageous or will you stand by and watch the struggle thinking it doesn’t apply to you? Really, I’m asking, what will you do? Think about it, and the next time you’re watching the news about bombings in Syria or some other country that has lived under suppressive regimes for many years, remember 9-11 and that since then many of the freedoms of the American people have been taken away without their having any say in the matter under the pretense of a big fraud called the War on Terror. No country on the planet is immune to the tyranny of the banking cartels as long as the world is divided. The only thing they can’t fight is everyone.
So, how bad do you want it… that world that really works? As bad as you want to breathe? I hope so, because all of our lives may depend on everyone uniting and putting aside all the stupid, petty differences in our beliefs that the elite like to keep us focused on while they carry out their diabolical plans for a one world government they control.
